Viva ELVIS, a harmonious fusion of dance, acrobatics and live music, is a tribute to the life and music of Elvis Presley. Nostalgia, modernity and raw emotion provide the backdrop for his immortal voice and the exhilaration and beauty of his music. Created in the image of The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll – powerful, sexy, whimsical, truly unique and larger than life – the show highlights an American icon who transformed popular music and whose image embodies the freedom, excitement and turbulence of his era. Significant moments in his life – intimate, playful and grandiose – blend with the timeless songs that remain as relevant today as when they first hit the top of the charts. Viva ELVIS focuses on the essential humanity of the one superstar whose name will forever be linked with the history of Las Vegas and the entire world of entertainment: Elvis Presley.

Show Facts

  • 112 costume changes occur within the first 3 songs of the show
  • Viva ELVIS' music arrangers sampled 914 albums and 33 feature-length films, concert recordings, interviews, and home movies to extract more than 17,765 samples of Elvis' singing and speaking voice
  • The gigantic Blue Suede Shoe that appears onstage is 29 feet long and weighs 7,000 lbs.
  • The American flag used in the Return to Sender scene is made of genuine long underwear and boxer shorts, and has only 48 stars because Elvis entered the service in 1958, the year before Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the Union

With Viva Elvis being the newest Cirque production on the strip it was a must see for us. The ticket prices were a tad high but worht it. Listening to Elvis songs one after another was magical and watching Cirque perform to them is always exciting. The show had a handful of emotions which I was surprised touched me as much as they did, from excitement, sadness, happiness, and of course love. The show had a few of it's own singers who sang Elvis songs and I thought it was a nice touch, they had great voices too! Over all it was a very colorful and beautiful show.

What an amazing show! I got to see Elvis when he was performing at the Las Vegas Hilton and this brought back all those wonderful memories for me. The music comes to life and the images of Elvis are so wonderful. I cried a few times and I wish he was around to see how many fans he still has. I've seen pretty much every show in Las Vegas and this has to be one of the very best. The theater is grand and beautiful and there is even a little surprise at the end so make sure to book the best seats you can!

I was born in the 70's and I have always heard about the music and life of Elvis Presley. I have personally always enjoyed "love me tener, 'blue suede shoes", and "jail house rock". These are the songs that I know best. I was so surprised that this show actually captured the Elvis experience in Las Vegas and displayed images of his private and professional life. The entire experience was awesome!

Wow! what a sweet tribute to the king. It was dazzling, original and innovative. The live band was awesome and the performers were great. It was a great story from start to the remarkable finish. I followed the masses out the theater doors and into the Cirque store and bought a souvenir. Yes this show will bring out the elvis fan in you.
"A MUST SEE"

I thought Viva Elvis was another great addition to the Cirque family and can be enjoyed by every one, not just those who are Elvis fans. From the opening number with the giant blue suede shoes, to the "Viva Las Vegas" finale complete with show girls, the show was a never ending medley of talented performers. The show room was great. While being spacious, the show room was also constructed well enough that it would be hard to find a bad seat in the theatre. I would recommend this show to any body. Viva elvis is a must see.
"Wonderful Elvis Show"

We saw this show at Christmas last year. The stadium seating is marvelous. There are no bad seats. When Elvis's voice comes over this magnificant sound system especially singing "Don't" it will send chills up your spine. The show is so fast paced, it seems unbelievable they can pack so much into the time. The only comment I had is that I am not there to see other people sing Elvis songs. I want Elvis only singing! ! The wedding sequence was far too long and drawn out, but the entire show was a wonderful experience. Totally enjoyed the sound system, I could sit all day and listen to Elvis on that sound system. A very enjoyable experience and a beautiful theater. For some reason there are no Elvis tribute artists in this show. I would take out the "non Elvis" singers and put in some tribute artists. There are a lot out there that would be able to carry an Elvis song. All in all the show was totally wonderful. We are planning onseeing this again this year (maybe twice).

'Awesome' I saw Elvis Live in 1974 at the Hilton. I had been a fan since the early sixties, and so this trip was the highlight of my life. I have returned to Las Vegas several times since then, but on my last trip, in October 2010 I stayed at The Aria and saw the show. It was an awesome production. The performers are just incredible. Quite breathtaking! Elvis and his music have been given a refreshing new lease of life, in the same way that the JLX remix succeeded in doing on 'A little less conversation' in a smaller way. Believe me, Old fan, new fan, or non-fan it will blow you away. You should also know that the Elvis experience does not stop there, the areas around the theatre are extensively and impressively themed and include a fantastic souvenir shop and a large, classy, Graceland hospitality suite with food, bars, and waitresses. And a bronze bust of Elvis sits at the bottom of the escalator, in the casino. Get your pic. taken there! Everything you will see and experience there is purpose built loyal to the theme and it is truly impressive and of the highest quality. Go see it! You must.

Last Feb. my husband surprised me with 2 tickets to see Viva Elvis during our upcoming trip to Vegas. At first I thought it was nice of him to do that because I have always been a fan of Elvis but have seen so many Elvis impersonators that I really didn't care to see another. Well to my surprise. . . . . . I absolutely LOVED the Viva Elvis show. It was nothing like I expected. Those kids were so, so talented and I just couldn't take my eyes off of them. Even the drummer had me mesmerized with all his talent. They were just so remarkable. I'm hoping to see the show again when I return in August. It had to be one of the top shows I've seen in my 20 years of my annual visits to Vegas. GOOD JOB! ! ! ! ! !
